These terms govern your use of lealtamales.com, the website operated by Leal's Tamale Factory ("we," "us," "our") at 6205 19th Street, Lubbock, Texas. By using this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
1. Use of the Website
This site is provided for informational purposes about Leal's Tamale Factory and to allow you to submit order inquiries. You may use the site to learn about our menu, hours, location, and ordering options, and to submit inquiry forms. You may not use the site to interfere with its operation, scrape its content for resale, or attempt to access systems or data you are not authorized to access.
2. Order Inquiries Are Not Confirmed Orders
Inquiry forms on this site (catering, wholesale, contact, shipping waitlist) are requests. Submitting a form does not create a confirmed order. We confirm orders by phone or in person after receiving your inquiry.
- For catering and bulk orders, we will follow up to confirm quantity, pickup date, varieties, and any deposit due.
- For wholesale, Victor will call within one business day to discuss volume, varieties, and the first-order date.
- For shipping waitlist, your information is recorded so we can notify you when shipping launches; submitting it does not place an order.
3. Pricing
Prices shown on this site are current at the time of posting. Pricing is subject to change. The price of an order is the price quoted to you by phone or in person at the time the order is confirmed. For large orders, holiday orders, and wholesale accounts, we may quote a different price based on volume, lead time, varieties, and current ingredient costs.
4. Catering and Wholesale
Catering and wholesale orders are pickup only at 6205 19th Street, Lubbock, TX 79407. We do not deliver catering or wholesale orders.
4.1 Lead times
- Under 10 dozen: walk in during business hours, no pre-order required.
- 5 to 50 dozen: minimum 48 hours' notice.
- 50+ dozen: minimum 1 to 2 weeks' notice. A deposit is required, with the amount based on the order size.
- Holiday-period orders (October through December) for catering of 50+ dozen: 6 to 8 weeks' notice strongly recommended.
4.2 Deposits and cancellations
Deposits for orders of 50+ dozen are non-refundable once production has started. If you need to cancel, please call as soon as possible — we will work with you in good faith and refund what we can.
5. Allergens and Food Safety
Our tamales and restaurant menu items contain meat (pork, chicken, beef) and corn (masa). We do not currently offer gluten-free options. We operate a shared kitchen, and cross-contact between ingredients is possible.
If you have a food allergy, please call (806) 780-LEAL before ordering. We will do our best to accommodate, but we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.
6. DoorDash Orders
Retail delivery orders are fulfilled through DoorDash, which operates under its own terms of service and its own pricing. Once an order is handed to a DoorDash driver, the delivery is governed by DoorDash. Refund requests for DoorDash orders should be directed to DoorDash.
7. Intellectual Property
The website's content, including the Leal's name, logo, photographs, and copy, is owned by Leal's Tamale Factory or used with permission. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute the content for commercial purposes without our written permission. Linking to this site is welcomed.
8. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
This site and its content are provided "as is." We do our best to keep menu, pricing, hours, and contact information current, but we do not guarantee that everything on the site is error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by Texas law, our total liability arising from your use of this site is limited to the amount you have paid us, if any, in the twelve months preceding the claim.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute arising from your use of this site or from any order placed through it will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Lubbock County, Texas, and you consent to that jurisdiction.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the latest version. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
